Triangle Pushcart is a gravity cart race which brings together commpanies and organizations from the Triangle's creative and technological community to build new relationships across longstanding social and economic divisions in support of the work of Neighbor 2 Neighbor. Our race day event serves as a meeting place where a greater sense of community can be built between what feels like two different worlds less than a mile apart.
Companies, organizations, and community groups are welcome to join us in celebrating everything about our community which we are proud to call home: beautiful weather, public spaces, a vibrant technology and creative community, and a friendly environment in which young people of diverse backgrounds can pursue meaningful opportunities to create positive impacts.
Neighbor 2 Neighbor is committed to building relationships where division previously existed, and seeks to give all young people a greater sense of the possible through after-school academic mentorship, GED and job training programs, and a variety of sports leagues as well as Raleigh's accidental but favorite downtown skatepark.
We are excited to invite you to come race, promote and share your expertise with a young, hungry and creative community, and if nothing else, have a snow cone and share a Saturday afternoon with us.
Our 2016 event will take place on Saturday, October 1st.
Join us at the Dorothea Dix Campus overlooking Downtown Raleigh and adjacent to Boylan Heights, Kirby-Bilyeu, Fuller Heights and the NC Farmers' Market. As shown on the map below, the race course is located at the eastern end of Umstead Dr.
